The Expansion is fully compatible with all the latest generation standalone MPCs with a dedicated 'standalone' installer for the MPC Live (I & II), MPC One, MPC X and Akai Force, and an MPC Software/MPC Beats installer, also compatible with controllers such as the MPC Touch, MPC Studio and MPC Renaissance.
Check out the full articulation list which also shows the file size of each articulation most are between 6MB and 30MB, with the largest (the piano) coming in at just under 57MB. We’ve also ensured that all the programs are optimised for minimal memory footprint in standalone MPCs and the Akai Force, so loading multiple instruments into your standalone project won’t be a problem. We’ve spent many hours painstakingly building these MPC keygroup programs from the ground-up to incorporate features such as dynamic layers, round robins, velocity sensitive filtering and mod wheel controlled vibrato.
